Zach’s works have received awards from ASCAP\, ASMAC\, Jazz at Lincoln Center\, JEN\, ISJAC and Downbeat magazine. He has written works for the New York Youth Symphony\, Ravinia Steans Music Institute\, Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra\, Greeley Philharmonic\, Dallas String Quartet and many other large and small ensembles across the country. Zach serves on the teaching faculty locally at the University of Denver.
