The Boulder Phil is proud to present local composer-performer Stratøs with a debut of his own compositions from his upcoming album Challenger Deep. Assistant Teaching Professor at the UC Boulder, Stratøs is also a saxophonist, composer, producer, photographer, and cinematographer. Having embraced the melodies of the Cool School early in his development, Stratøs now leaves behind a unique sonic imprint as an artist. Challenger Deep is Stratøs’ third studio LP, a ten-movement masterwork written for electronic chamber orchestra. This will be the first time the work has been orchestrated and played live.  Don’t miss this 5x award winning composer.
