Saturday Headliner: Ken Walker Tribute Sextet

The Tribute Sextet dedicated to our beloved late Ken Walker is an iconic and beloved jazz group which has played together for more than two decades. It has strong individual voices and exhibits a musical coherence that comes together with its feet firmly planted in the soil of post- bop.

Sunday Headliner: Electric Giz

Electric Giz draws in audiences with accessible grooves and contemporary sonic elements. Their original music combines improvisation, sound design, and catchy hooks in an immersive journey through genres. Seemingly simple compositions provide a foundation for the band to share their joy in spontaneous creation.

The All-Stars Jazz Band

The Longmont All-Star Jazz Band is a year-round supplementary option for students enrolled in their high school music programs with an interest in jazz in the greater Boulder County area. To hone their craft in a professional environment with featured masterclasses and sectional guest artists, and regular performances within their community.

Bobby Wiens Quartet

Bobby Wiens is a professional drummer based in Denver, CO, with 15 years of performing, touring, recording and teaching experience under his belt. Over his career, Wiens has led several bands which perform his eclectic stockpile of compositions and arrangements. He is also an in-demand sideman who has worked with a number of world-class musicians both locally and internationally.

Space Force

Space Force is a Colorado space fusion band dutifully devoted to defending the dankness of deep space dancery! They excel in creating a musical atmosphere unlike any band in the Fort Collins scene. Cosmic, alien-like guitar effects along with dual saxes and perpetual grooves is what sets Space force apart.

Guerrilla Fanfare

Since its inception in 2015, the musicians of Guerrilla Fanfare have been dedicated to bringing the highest quality brass band music to life throughout Colorado and beyond. From fiery pop arrangements, to traditional jazz, to innovative original music, the mission of the band is to appeal to the audience and deliver a meaningful and positive performance that invigorates, excites and delights!

Alex Loran Sextet

Alex Loran is an enthusiastic and passionate saxophonist, composer, and educator based in Denver, Colorado. She received her Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from the Thompson Jazz Studies Program at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2024.

Heath Walton Quartet

Heath Walton received a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the University of Colorado in 2003 and a Master of the Arts in Jazz Studies from New York University in 2007. Heath leads the music department at Front Range Community College Westminster and Boulder campuses.

Adam Bodine Quartet

One of Adam Bodine’s most beloved and entertaining musical outfits is his jazz combo. Whether exploring its bandleader’s vibrant original compositions or busting out creative interpretations of cover tunes, Bodine’s band is impressively flexible with an energy and repertoire that’s always fresh, fun, and thoughtful.

Stafford Hunter & Continuum

Atlantic City born and Philly raised, this multi-Grammy nominated trombonist went pro at 16, graduated from The New School’s jazz program, and built a three-decade career on the NYC scene. A longtime member of the Duke Ellington Orchestra, he has performed worldwide with legends from McCoy Tyner to Roy Hargrove.

The Krueger Brothers Sextet

Cian and Brendan are Denver-based jazz musicians known for disciplined craft, strong musicality, and a deep commitment to ensemble playing. Both are accomplished musicians, bringing a broad harmonic vocabulary and refined sense of phrasing to their performances. Together, they bring versatility, focus, and a shared dedication to jazz excellence.

Deborah Stafford’s Swingtet

Deborah Stafford is known as one of the best Blues, Jazz, & Big Band Singers in Colorado. Deborah has opened for Buddy Guy and shared the stage with Hamilton Loomis among others. Her Swingtet is peopled by some of the finest musicians in the Boulder/Denver area.

Julie Koenig

Julie Koenig is an accomplished multi-genre vocalist, pianist, and educator based in Fort Collins, CO. Her sound is influenced by the traditions of jazz and blues (Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone), as well as pop, rock, and soul.
A pianist since the age of 7, Julie often accompanies herself as a solo performer in both jazz and pop/rock styles. She is a lifelong learner and constantly seeking a deeper, more meaningful understanding of her art.

Ryan McCurry

Ryan McCurry is a Colorado-based pianist known for his versatility across jazz, funk, rock, and beyond. A regular presence on Front Range stages, he’s spent nearly two decades performing in everything from small-group settings to touring productions.
Ryan brings a responsive, musical approach to every performance, shaped by deep listening, strong groove, and a willingness to follow the moment wherever it goes.

Atom Collective

Atom Collective is a group built around a rotating cast of top local players and emerging talent. Founded by Adisa Nickerson, Tobin Munsat, and Todd VanSelus, the band blends classic repertoire with modern standards and flexible instrumentation.
Sets often feature a mix of seasoned professionals alongside younger musicians, reflecting the group’s connection to the Atom Jazz Network and its focus on creating real performance opportunities across the local scene.
